We are seeking a C#/Javascript Software Engineer to help develop our flagship software product and to become an integral part of the company’s expansion and development.

We offer a full range of software support, services and consultation for small to medium sized businesses as well as providing off the shelf software products.

Due to recent contract wins we are seeking someone to join the team and continue to build on its success.

Job Description/Responsibilities

As a key member of a busy software company you will be required to:

• Work individually on projects (from planning and implementation to sign off) but also to function as part of a small enthusiastic team
• Pitch in with software helpdesk support
• Liaise with clients and 3rd party support technicians
• Communicate clearly with clients who may or may not be tech savvy

Required Skills/Experience/Qualifications * Education to Degree level in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of qualification and experience

• Be comfortable with C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery, Desktop and Web application development.
• Understand the need for good version control using systems like SVN, Mq or Git
• Professional attitude to documentation and knowledgebase maintenance

Ideally you should be working towards: * A working knowledge of design patterns.

• Experience of unit testing using xUnit/nUnit style frameworks
• Good understanding of software development, database and security best practices

Experience of ASP.NET MVC and/or Xamarin is advantageous

Salary: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
