Software Architect

Cadent Sourcing is partnering with a global leader in IoT Building Information Modelling and Asset Management that enables Buildings and Premises to be efficiently and sustainably.

We are seeking a Software Architect, that will design and provide technical leadership for the integration of Building Information with IoT, Big Data and the Cloud.

Requirements:

• 12 – 15 years’ software development experience out of which more than 4 years of experience is in designing software applications.
• Degree Qualification in a Related Discipline.
• Excellent experience with JavaScript, Typescript and Java.
• Experience with Node.js and React.js
• Design and Build experience in Spring Framework and Microservices
• Expertise with document databases like MongoDB
• Strong API skills
• Cloud Experience (AWS, Oracle Cloud or Azure)
• Agile software development methodologies
• High level/fluency in English is essential for this role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

The Role:

• Be the decision maker on all design choices, and create a decision making process that includes all relevant parties
• Be the Technical Leader for design & builds, and coordinate the builds with the project teams
• Set and oversee the standard expected to create and improve a global leading integrated Building Information Modelling platform.
• Instill a quality first approach to coding and set the standard for high quality code.

This role is for a Global company, that operates through the English language. The positions a 100% remote in the UK, with some international travel expected. A High-level or fluency in English is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100,000.00-£130,000.00 per year
