Lead QA Engineer

Cadent Sourcing is partnering with a global leader in Asset Management for Building and Facilities operations.

We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer, with experience in Agile working environments.

This role will build and optimise the interfaces, that help run buildings efficiently, economically and in an environmentally friendly way.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software testing experience, preferable experience in Agile methodologies.
• A Bachelor’s or associate degree in an applicable field, preferably Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience working in a Quality Assurance function, by architecting or driving the process.
• Good understanding of Micro Services Architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience creating and executing test plans for testing REST APIs.
• Ability to implement and debug tests using JavaScript is a must.
• Should have a strong understanding of SQL and ETL rules.
• Experience with testing software frameworks, SaaS or PaaS products preferred.
• Experience testing IoT and/or other system integrations preferred.
• Familiarity with document databases like Mongo DB.
• Experience with JMeter, Postman, REST Assured, qTest and other software testing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in the development of test strategies and plans for the platform.
• Provide innovation, creativity and expertise to advance API automation, system integration testing and functional testing protocols.
• Interface with Product Management and Product Development to ensure requirements. compliance, determine release readiness, and triage defects.
• Provide technical leadership for automation, functional and system integration testing teams.
• Review and recommend improvements to existing QA processes.
• Execute test plans and review and analyse test results and troubleshoot and diagnose test failures.
• Provide support in the design, development and production phases of platform features.
• Train and supervise QA engineers.

This role is for a Global company, that operates in the English language. The positions a 100% remote in AUSTRALIA. A High-level or fluency in English is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
