The Role

We have big plans at Cable Melbourne and we’re on the hunt for an experienced, creative and passionate Visual Merchandise Design & Operations expert to join our team!

ing to the Marketing Manager – Womenswear, you will develop and create the Visual Merchandising direction and creative execution across Cable Melbourne retail stores and concessions.

This role is part time, working Monday to Thursday. You will be based in our Support Office in Malvern 2 days per week, with the other 2 days spent in the field with our store teams, ensuring company directives are implemented and standards achieved.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Responsible for setting the Visual Merchandising direction that supports the product range, key trends, and creative brand direction
• Develop creative window concepts that align with the Marketing and Product seasonal direction
• Develop all creative and promotional print material
• Develop floor plans and product flow to drive commercial results
• Source props and work with external suppliers to bring the window concept together
• Communicate the Visual Merchandising direction and window installations to the retail team via VM briefs and documentation
• Work cross functionally with Retail Operations Manager and General Manager on store profile / VM execution
• Train and develop both VM and retail team members on VM standards and expectations

What are we looking for?

• Experience in similar role
• Relevant tertiary qualifications – desirable however not essential
• Strong experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Excel and Microsoft office
• A keen eye for detail and an analytical approach
• Strong commercial and retail acumen
• A genuine love and understanding of our brand
• Strong communication skills and high level of people and relationship management skills
• Effective time management – an ability to prioritise to achieve results
• Ability to work under pressure and think on your feet
• A desire for continuous improvement
• A position ‘can do’ attitude
• A current driver’s License and vehicle
• The ability to travel to various store locations throughout Australia as required
