CABLE MELBOURNE Hiring for Retail Operations Manager at Malvern, Victoria, Australia Full Time

The Role

We have an amazing, rare opportunity available in the new year for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our Cable Melbourne business!

Based in Melbourne, you will lead a team of our 18 Cable Store Managers responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximise profitability.

This is a true leadership role for a dynamic, hands-on retailer with strong fashion experience. You will focus on customer service and open communication with your team to ensure they understand company direction and initiatives and are focused on KPI’S and results.

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday.

Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Overseeing all day-to-day operational responsibilities across our all of our stores nationally
• Provide training, continuous coaching, leadership, guidance and development of your Managers
• Drive a proactive approach to maximising sales and managing wage and stock loss
• Drive all operational standards, including inventory management, visual merchandising, loss prevention and OH& S
• Support new store openings
• Recruit high-calibre team members and provide them with an exceptional induction to the business
• Communicating and influencing key stakeholders across the business

What are we looking for?

• 3-4 years’ + multi-site management experience within retail a apparel environment
• Department store and boutique experience would be highly desirable
• An experienced ‘hands on’ leader with great mentoring and coaching skills with the ability to inspire your team.
• A caring and nurturing leadership style
• Strong commercial and retail acumen
• A genuine love and understanding of our brand
• You cultivate a team environment of trust, motivation and accountability, to maximise performance.
• Strong Visual Merchandising skills
• Flexibility to travel interstate as required
• Strong communication skills and high level of people and relationship management skills
• A proven track record of being successful in a fast-paced KPI driven environment
• Exceptional customer service focus
• A desire for continuous improvement
