C. Matthews Legal Solutions Hiring for Adminstrative Assistant at Calgary, AB Full Time

Summary of Duties (but not limited to the following):

• Represent the interests of the Association in a professional and courteous manner at all times;
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, answering their questions in a timely fashion and/or directing them to external resources; and
• Staffing the reception area during regular office hours (Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30pm)

Specific Areas of Responsibility (but not limited to):

• Serving visitors by greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately;
• Maintaining, cleaning and organizing the lobby, reception area, boardroom, meeting room, kitchens, and workroom;
• Attending to phone calls while maintaining a polite and professional phone etiquette;
• Purchasing/coordinating office stationery and resources as required;
• General office support including mail, couriers, filing, photocopying, shredding, archiving, scanning, etc.;
• Drafting correspondence,
• Coordinating the weekly contact audits of MailChimp/Naylor software platforms;
• Follow-up on outstanding Accounts Receivable (A/R);
• Vacation coverage as required;
• Other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• An interest in legal services, and helping clients in distress;
• Strong telephone skills;
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word;
• Punctual with a strong attendance history;
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills;
• Customer focused;
• Demonstrated ability to set goals, organize resources, implement strategies to maintain deliverables;
• A high level of energy with strong relationship building, analytical and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill;
• Must be ok with a small dog in the office;

Education and Experience:

• Post-secondary certificate or diploma not required, but office experience an asset

Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
