Senior Accounting Manager

$120,000+ DOE

Oversee AR & AP accounting employees. Produce monthly financials for the owners.

Requirements:

• BS in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting work
• General Ledger and Payroll experience
• Must be able to close monthly and yearly books
• Self Starter able to work with minimal supervision
• Able to adapt to older software system in use.
• Proficient in use of MS Office (excel, word, outlook, etc)

Responsibilities include

• Supervise two accounting employees
• Month end and year end journal entries
• Confirm vendor invoices have all backup documentation
• Set up check runs as needed
• Manage cash flow.
• Prepare bank required reports.
• Prepare, file and pay sales tax, property tax etc.
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Handle HR duties for 16-18 employees including medical insurance and 401k plan
• Process Bi-monthly payroll using ADP
• Work with CPA and outside auditors
• This is a in-office position (8-5) (M-F)
