About the Team:
The HR operations team endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
1. Be current on the dynamic labor regulatory landscape and possess the knowledge to identify and take action on compliance issues as needed in the EMEA region.
2. Manage the scope and schedule for assigned compliance projects and programs; conduct compliance audits, identify risks, analyze results and generate reports for relevant functional areas, and potential policy recommendations to appropriate departments by working with the global HR compliance lead and other regional counterparts.
3. Lead, define, design and deliver EMEA HR compliance framework, solutions, and risk mitigation mechanism ensuring compliance with country specific laws and regulations across the region by partnering with internal stakeholders.
4. Own country specific regulatory reporting requirements; Advise and create policies and internal processes on topics such as wage/hour, time-offs and leave of absence, workforce classification, workplace fairness, pay equity and gender pay gap reporting, and mandatory training programs.
5. Provide subject matter expertise, conduct research and partner closely with HRBPs, CoEs, internal audit, ethics office, and legal teams to identify and rectify any HR compliance and operational risks.
6. Stay well-informed on all employee-related legislative and regulatory changes and/or developments by keeping an updated tracker on regulatory changes by partnering with legal teams. Lead and deliver HR compliance changes for the business in line with current and future legislation to maintain compliance within EMEA employment regulations and in response to internal and external audits.
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience (HR Compliance, HR Business Partner, or related legal/compliance type of position).
2. In-depth knowledge of employment law and regulatory requirements in major EMEA countries; demonstrated policy and procedure development and enforcement to ensure compliance.
3. Expertise in HR compliance project management, including research, policy development, interpretation, communication, and implementation.
4. Significant experience working on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
5. Experience working with union-related matters, works council matters, and collective bargaining agreements, particularly for international markets, is preferred.
6. Ability to navigate successfully with ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment; and ability to distill complex and novel topics into easily understandable concepts across multicultural stakeholders across the HR community.
