Yourrole:

Working within ateam of developers, you will ensure that the software released is bug free andfit for purpose. You will be engaging in reporting bugs and validating thatfixes have been applied successfully. As well as this, you will also have theopportunity to investigate and promote new testing tools and attempt automatedtesting.

Yourtasks and responsibilities:

= Ensure developed software meets specifiedrequirements through testing

= Manual and automated testing of newlydeveloped features

= Ensure a high standard of quality ismaintained across the applications that are built

= Uncovering bugs in existing solutions

= Write clear and concise bugs reports

= Engage with developers to expedite bugfixes

= Promote new tools and practices

Your qualifications and experience:

= Commercial softwaretesting experience

= Strong API and Websitetesting experience

= Strong ability tointerpret and understand user stories

= Willing to investigate andpromote new strategies and technologies

= Understanding of a varietyof testing methodologies

= Able to write test plansand test scripts

= Familiar with agilemethodologies

= Familiar with or willingto learn selenium IDE

= Automation testingexperience would be desirable but not required

Your working week will be 30 hours over 5 days on a weekly set shiftpattern, Monday to Friday. Hybrid working is available for this role, with anequal share of office and home based work.
