Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, an outstanding Top 20 firm of accountants based in Letchworth, that are keen to appoint a Payroll Administrator to complement the existing team on a straight permanent basis.
Role Requirements –
Process client payrolls using Star Payroll Professional
Ensure correct Tax/NI rates and relevant certificates are in place for each employee, including certificates of age exception, certificates of election and NI deferment certificates
Complete and submit all PAYE & NIC documentation including forms P45, P46, P38s and P46
Calculation of employee and employer pension contributions. Maintain detailed records and deal with any administration required by the pension provider
Process automatic transfer of Salaries, PAYE and Pensions
Dealing with client queries
Deal with all HM Revenue & Customs enquiries
Production, reconciliation and submission of end of year form P35, together with P14 and P60 forms, meeting the Revenue deadlines
Keep up to date with legislation changes
Person Requirements –
At least 1+ years’ payroll administration experience, ideally within practice or bureau environments
Proficiency in the use of payroll specific software, ideally STAR Payroll
Excellent communication skills
