Primary Responsibilities for the Commercial Loan Assistant

· Tracking underlying collateral for commercial real estate projects

· Monitor property insurance to ensure proper coverage

· Support Director of Operations with certain managerial functions (e.g., tracking operational metrics of department)

· Review documents for accuracy

Desired Qualifications for the Commercial Loan Assistant

· A 4-year degree in business or finance and some exposure to the real estate lending sector; through internships etc. or 3-5 years of practical experience the real estate sector either in mortgage lending, law / paralegal, or loan servicing/underwriting

· An understanding of settlement statements and title commitments

· Familiar with insurance endorsements and exclusions

· Great communication skills, enjoys analysis

Compensation for the Commercial Loan Assistant to 75K DOE
