Business Office Manager Job at West Sacramento, CA US Full Time

River Bend Nursing Center is looking for a Business Office Manager. We are looking for someone who has experience billing Medicare and MediCal, someone who can take the lead in collections for the facility. Must have billing experience in Skilled Nursing. We are also looking for someone who can:

· Obtain managed care and Medi-Cal or Medicaid authorizations including bedholds.

· Manage resident trust fund, including printing and distributing monthly statements.

· Maintain census and report status changes.

· Attend stand-up and quality assurance meetings.

· Assist with Medi-Cal or Medicaid applications.

· Prepare TARS as needed.

· Track Medi-Cal and Medicaid redeterminations.

· Take the lead in billing and payment processes including preparing bank deposits.

· Undertake collection activity for bad debts.

· Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

River Bend Nursing Center is a 99-bed facility. We have 55 Skilled Nursing beds and 44 Sub-Acute beds. The facility is known for offering quality skilled nursing services 24/7 as well as PT, OT, ST, and Respiratory Therapy for the benefit of our resident and patient community.
