About the role

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing all the social media content for the Alliance Australia portfolio of brands. This includes supporting with the ideation, development, and scheduling of all social media content across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as community management.

Key duties of the role include:

• Social Media Management – Custodian of Alliance Australia’s portfolio of social media channels
• Social Listening – ‘listening’ to Alliance Australia brands tags/mentions and managing responses/interactions
• Social Media Content – Developing content for each of the brands social media channels with the goal of increasing engagement and following
• Stakeholder Engagement – You will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, peers etc.) and will be supported through this by the team and manager.

About you

The main requirement is someone who has experience, and is passionate about Social Media management, content creation and interaction.

Other key requirements of the role:

• Proven experience in a Social Media Coordination role
• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling, brand-aligned content for social media platforms
• Tertiary level qualifications in Marketing or similar related fields.
