Software Engineer – FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Job Responsibilities:

Apply your creative mind in addressing urgent business requirements by providing quick software solutions with minimal turnaround time to avoid any disruption to the business.

Spend 50% in applying your software engineering background in resolving software service disruptions in our Ad Platform. This will involve investigation of software programs problems in the platform, providing a temporary solution and then escalation for providing a permanent fix. Need to prioritize Software bugs to ensure critical up-time of our Ad server platform. Use 10% of your time to participate in Software design review meetings to provide your inputs based on your software engineering experience.

Spend 20% of the time learning new software technologies and developing software solutions.

Another 20% of time will be spent on participating in knowledge transfer sessions and preparation of documentation of runbooks for software post-production activities.

Profile and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience OR MS degree with 2+ years of experience in software engineering (Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred).
• A minimum of 2 years of development experience in building Microservices using ReactJS, and Node.js frameworks.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery.
• Expertise in development of REST APIs and SOA architecture.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and NoSQL.
• Active pursuit of optimizing CI/CD process and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
• Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash and Ruby.
• Experience in working with Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of debugging software issues on different Operating Systems– preferably in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems like Datadog, Kibana, Pingdom, PagerDuty.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, problem recognition, and problem resolution skills.
