Title: Software Engineer

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software for our customers.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that meets technical requirements.
• Participate in a highly collaborative team environment, contributing to all development lifecycle phases using Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Assist in the troubleshooting of code defects and deployment of timely fixes.
• Deliver projects on time and with attention to quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Two to six (2-6) years of experience including Software Design, Development, Test, and Evaluation.
• Current TS/SCI security clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Servlets, and Javascript.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of business users and management.
• Ability to work individually and on team projects in an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
• Practical written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Under the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred qualifications:

• Web UI development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience using Javascript frameworks and libraries, including AngularJS, Bootstrap, NodeJS, JQuery, etc.
• An affinity towards creating responsive/reactive web applications that adhere to a standard look and feel.
• Experience with web-based mapping APIs such as OpenLayers.
• RESTful API consumption and design (Build & consume services).
• Experience with Maven, JBoss, Tomcat, Virtual Machines, and Containers.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM.
• I am a working knowledge and understanding of relational database technologies and database management systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with SOAP, WSDL, XML/XSD/XSL, and JSON.
