About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Tendering & Proposals for our Mumbai office. The role requires strong hands-on experience in preparing and managing infrastructure consulting proposals for government and PSU clients including MSRDC, MMRDA, NHAI, and State PWDs. Railways sector experience is an added advantage.

This is a dual-function role combining technical proposal writing with client-facing business development.

Key Responsibilities

Tendering & Proposals

• Identify and track tenders, RFPs, and EOIs from government and PSU portals
• Prepare technical proposals — Approach & Methodology, Work Plans, Team Composition, CVs
• Prepare financial proposals — fee structures, staff-month estimates, cost breakdowns
• Manage JV / consortium bids and coordinate partner inputs
• Attend pre-bid meetings, handle clarifications, and ensure timely submission

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Build and maintain relationships with government departments, PSUs, and development authorities
• Represent YUV Infra in client meetings, presentations, and pre-bid discussions
• Follow up on submitted bids, negotiations, and contract finalization
• Support empanelment with government agencies and multilateral bodies

Requirements

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• MBA in Marketing / Business Development (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years in BD / tendering at an infrastructure consulting or PMC firm (mandatory)
• Candidates from contracting or construction backgrounds will not be considered
• Proven experience with PMC and DPR proposals in the Roads & Highways sector
• Direct experience dealing with MSRDC, MMRDA, NHAI, or State PWDs
• Familiarity with QCBS, LCS, EOI, RFP frameworks and portals — CPP, GeM, state eProcurement
• Railways sector experience is an added advantage

Skills

• Strong technical and proposal writing ability
• Sound knowledge of government procurement processes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple bids under strict deadlines
• Strong coordination and communication skills
