The Poast is a one minute daily email for entrepreneurs, leaders, and people shaping the future of tech.
We’re building a small and fast-moving partnerships team that shapes and builds long-lasting relationships with our best partners. Your mission is to build, scale, and manage strategic partnerships that help grow The Poast’s bottom line. This is a high-volume outbound role. You will be responsible for identifying partners to feature, growing our partnerships prospects list, and executing email campaigns that turn into first-time partners
About the Role
You are a skilled generalist who can context switch but also can identify key strategic partners to prospect. You like to work using AI. You operate with independence. And, you enjoy figuring out creative solutions that makes your job go faster.
What You’ll Do
• Build Relationships: Identify and build long-lasting relationships with brands actively spending on newsletters, podcasts, and social media. Focus on B2B SaaS, fintech, and developer tools companies reaching founders and operators
• Own the Outbound: Execute daily personalized outreach using The Poast’s proven email templates. Research each prospect, pull their latest content, build their custom offer, then hit send
• Close Deals: Proactively engage advertisers in ways that win and close. Follow up, handle objections, and get the yes
• Expand Partnerships: Find new ad markets and targets, expand existing packages, and build custom offers that help partners easily connect with our readers
• Track Everything: Own your sales pipeline and track what’s been sent, who responded, who needs a follow up, what’s closing and when
Qualities We Look For
• 2+ years of battle scars from B2B sales
• Exceptionally strong communication skills and executive presence
• You understand the AI landscape, embrace AI tools, and our product
• Obsessively well organized
• High horse power
