Burbrella LLC Hiring for Part time Outschool Teacher-Evenings, Weekends, Remote at Remote Full Time

This position is guaranteed 8-10 hours a week, evenings, and weekend availability preferred (some mornings). Please read entire description before applying.

MUST BE ENGAGING, ENTHUSIASTIC, and EXPERIENCED IN VIRTUAL TEACHING. Must have the ability to fully engage students virtually with a teaching style that shines through the screen.
Must be mainly available during the evening hours (afterschool) and have some weekend availability (EST times)

Burbrella Learning Acdemy is looking for flexible, self motivated, experienced and enthusiastic OUTSCHOOL TEACHER.

Company Description

Burbrella Learning Academy is an online homeschool enrichment program for preschool to Grade 12. Our online learning academy offers live lessons to students in multiple time zones (Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern). Experienced educators guide a small group of learners through virtual Ela, Math, Science, and enrichment lessons while building their social skills through engaging lessons.

Burbrella Learning Academy Teachers are responsible for:

• Organizing and implementing curriculum/lesson plans using provided Learning Management Systems
• Communicating and creating resources for families (Parent newsletter is created once a month for the entire learning academy. All you need to do is turn in your information and we create it for you)
• Communicating and collaborating with families, other remote teachers and administration using online platforms.
• Creating teaching materials to utilize your creativity to engage virtual learners.
• Using virtual platforms as your classrooms by using OUTSCHOOL’s online platform.
• Posting on social media platforms to engage learners further and provide families with support.
• Advertising learning academy classes/outschool classes and events via social platforms
• Attending learning academy professional developments
• Conducting engaging live and interactive classes, each session approximately 30-75 minutes.
• Ability to plan ahead. (planning is compensated)
• Ability to lead students in a projects, and hands on learning virtually;
• Ability to lead and implement small group instruction virtually
• Ability to engage children grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 or 9-12
• Ability to teach hands on learning virtually using academic supports, resources, and learning management systems.

Hours per Week: Monday – Saturday 8-10 hours per week

Pay: $18-$21

Location: United States (EST, CT, MT, or PST)

What you will need: a computer with a camera, strong internet connection, ability to engage students virtually.

Qualification:

• College Hours in Education or related field Preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years teaching in any capacity Preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skill
• Ability to use tech tools e.g Zoom, Google Classroom, Google Meets, Excel, Powerpoint etc
• Personable, Energetic, Relatable to Middle School Students
• Eligible to work in the United States
