Burberry Hiring for Planner (Supply) at Keighley, Full Time

JOB PURPOSE

The supply Planner is responsible for the management of raw materials and manufacturing requirement planning (MRP) to meet production and efficiency targets for Burberry Mill.  Reporting to planning manager, one FTE responsibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with the site manufacturing team to ensure efficient process through availability of raw materials (Yarn) with responsibility for product finishing 
• Management of all third party finishing and dying process 
• Supplier performance and strategy 
• Acting as the main contact for communication between Burberry and our process suppliers 
• Establishes forecasts, plans, and manages supply chain resources 
• Export documentation, transport, customs, and clearance of product moving over borders 
• Optimises planning processes, tools, and relevant statistical data    
• Manages inventory and stock accuracy at dyers & finishers 
• Produce weekly reports and monthly KPI’s and ad hoc reporting & analysis 
• Works with quality team for colourations, new developments and procurement of samples    
• Line manager to supply co-ordinator (1 x FTE)  

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Strong numeric and verbal reasoning is essential.   
• Excellent communication skills    
• Previous Supply Chain Planning and scheduling experience are essential.  Manufacturing exposure preferred   
• Demonstrable ability to engage and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders   
• Excellent MS Office skills and data analytics  
• Able to build positive working relationships within a team environment.   
• Supervisor experience to manage a team of one   
• Italian speaking advantageous
