JOB PURPOSE

Support Wholesale Excellence by driving business (Revenue, EBIT) through proactive management of the replenishment program, disciplined inventory control, overseeing DSA program and seasonal merchandise planning. Integral point person for multiple cross-functional teams (wholesale sales, finance, customer operations), assisting in development of a seamless 360 management of merchandise processes from planning strategy inception to in-market procurement, and tracking of shipping. The Wholesale Planner supports the wholesale business by providing analysis and guidance on annual and seasonal plans with an opportunity to build new structures and processes to strengthen Planning foundation under the Wholesale umbrella.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with wholesale sales team to develop strategic sales targets by account, division, product assortment, and doors for each market. Relay and recap sales targets at all levels to UK corporate planning teams.
• Develop strong relationships with central planning and supply chain to help manage expectations on procurement capacities.
• Partner with wholesale sales team and accounts to develop replenishment plans by style, size, month based on historical sales data, market trends, competitive analysis, strategic plans, responsible for procuring wholesale replenishment inventory
• Assist in fiscal budgeting process at door, division, account level.
• Provide qualitative financial analysis to support the wholesale team and ensure achievement of business plans. Identify risks and opportunities to financial forecasts in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Actively monitor replenishment inventory levels at accounts and frequently communicate with accounts regarding replenishment strategies, inventory penetrations, shipping and any additional procurement of inventory.
• Forecast replenishment inventory & sales weekly; communicate risk/upside and formulate action plans to achieve inventory target levels and sales plans. Responsible for controlling wholesale replenishment & total wholesale inventory levels.
• Forecast DSA program payouts monthly, partnering with sales team to track fill rates & monthly and seasonal payouts along with competitive analysis of program structure.
• Work closely with operations and central planning teams to execute any inventory pick ups and drops.
• Maintenance of Skypad and execution of weekly sell-out sales reporting.
• Maintenance of distribution records.
• Partner with wholesale sales team in execution, maintenance and distribution of market reporting and recapping to all teams (Americas, Corporate, other regional offices).
• Monitor weekly shipping and partner with operations & finance on tracking to revenue forecasts.
• Manage monthly OTB to highlight risks and opportunities in sales and inventory: monitor inventory on contracts and partnering with sales team on exit strategies; monitor in-season procurement and highlighting any risks in inventory.
• Maintenance of DSA contracts & seasonal payout exhibits.

PERSONAL PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Extremely high level of aptitude in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. SAP experience advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in forecasting and inventory management. Department Store experience preferred.
• Acute attention to detail and astute analytical skills; disciplined maintenance of large amounts of data and able to quickly identify actionable items.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-starter with strong work ethic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build positive relationships with both regional and global cross-functional teams; ability to effectively communicate across all levels of seniority.
