As a member of the Insurance Team, you will be responsible for processing auto and basic insurance transactions, identifying client needs and providing information on basic insurance products best suited to meet the client’s needs, recommending and implementing client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collecting payment. You will also be responsible for providing reception and general administration services by receiving and referring incoming phone calls, greeting clients, and providing a variety of routine office administrative support services such as maintaining filing systems and opening and sorting incoming mail.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a high school diploma, one to two years of post-secondary education in the business discipline would be preferred. An individual with a combination of education and/or experience, preferably with insurance experience, will also be considered. You should be adaptable, organized and have the ability to prioritize and thrive in an environment of ongoing change.
