The role

ing into the Chief Marketing Officer, your remit is to own the strategy and execution of all content and partner marketing to achieve growth and retention across the accountant and bookkeeping segments. You will manage a team of four who are focussed on lead generation and product trial activities and work closely with Heads of Campaigns, Digital, Sales, and Customer Success departments. Your success will hinge on your ability to identify effective content that drives conversions and your adeptness in applying account-based marketing principles. Furthermore, you should excel at comprehending and articulating the value proposition of our product in a manner that effectively addresses customer needs.

The responsibilities

• Assume leadership of the Partner Program, placing a strong emphasis on influencing product adoption, increasing feature utilisation, and enhancing certification metrics. Achieve these objectives by overseeing education initiatives within the Partner Channel.
• Establish and maintain transparent lines of communication with our Partners, utilising online platforms and in-person interactions whenever feasible, such as at events and conferences.
• Foster regular collaboration with team members across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success departments to ensure seamless coordination of efforts.
• Formulate a comprehensive partner and content marketing strategy, and guide your team in executing partner campaigns targeted at our accounting and bookkeeping segment.
• Supervise marketing initiatives aimed at driving engagement within our Partner Portal, which is currently undergoing a redesign.
• Utilise various channels, including events, webinars, social media, and paid promotions, to generate leads and explore expansion opportunities for both content and partner marketing.
• Collaborate closely with the Product and Customer Success teams to conduct research, gain a deep understanding, and develop compelling value propositions to effectively position our products and content for Partners and their clients.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our content and marketing programs for our products and provide regular s to the organisation, highlighting necessary adjustments and improvements.

The requirements

• Demonstrated track record of achievement and excellence in B2B, Partner Marketing, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), and campaign management. Experience from the SaaS/accounting industry will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience in developing partner marketing strategies to optimise growth and profitability
• Advanced marketing and social media skills and external business profile
• Experience with Hubspot will be highly regarded
• Great attention to detail and strong planning and execution of agreed plans
• Power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook
• Exceptional commercial and ROI-tracking skills
