We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants to join our staff team.


Job Title: Teaching Assistant


Term time only: Yes (including inset day)


Salary Type: Bucks pay


Salary details: £18,329-£18,985 per annum, pro rata (dependent on experience)


Contract type: Permanent


Hours: 32.5

About the role

The roles will involve:

  • Giving support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
  • Working under the direction of the class teacher and line manager
  • Assisting in the supervision of children outside the classroom including in playgrounds, dining areas or on visits outside the school premises

About you

The successful candidates would ideally have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant and will:

  • Adopt a consistent positive approach towards all children, in keeping with our school values
  • Be organised and adaptable
  • Possess good communication skills and have a high standard of English and Maths
  • Be able to work on their own initiative and under the direction of the class teacher
  • Stay calm in difficult situations
