We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly team, to cover parental leave. This is a varied, fast-paced, customer and candidate focused role providing both strategic and operational recruitment services.
Here’s what Tara had to say about the team,; ‘’I’m fortunate to have found such a supportive and friendly team to work with, the resourcing team work hard and pull together to help each other out.’’
In April 2020 Buckinghamshire Council became the UK’s newest council. Meaning the residents of Buckinghamshire are now served by a single, unitary council. Buckinghamshire is an ambitious, rapidly growing county, and our economy is one of the strongest in the country.
We are looking for motivated, ambitious and inspiring people to join us on our journey.
This is a varied and fast-paced, customer and candidate focused role. In this post, you will be responsible for leading and managing the end to end recruitment activity and recruitment administration for specified service area(s) whilst achieving the recruitment KPIs and filling vacancies in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Offering a high quality, professional and proactive specialist resourcing advisory service to our hiring managers and HR colleagues is a priority for the team.
This is achieved by developing strong and positive working relationships with our hiring managers and other stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the current and future recruitment needs of the service area(s). Working in partnership with the services to develop and manage strategic and operational recruitment plans. Including developing and managing talent attraction strategies on multiple platforms including writing and posting professional and effective recruitment advertising and marketing copy. Reviewing careers sites and work positively with partner agencies.
Other responsibilities will include the delivery of ad hoc Resourcing projects and positively support the Resourcing Consultancy Leads in delivering the resourcing service.
This role is for 6 months initially, to cover parental leave. We actively encourage a good work-life balance and promote flexible and agile working arrangements. Currently the team work from home, and are in the office in Aylesbury on Tuesday – however this can vary dependent upon work requirements.
Any-Desk:
As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements*.
We are looking for a professional, friendly, proactive individual with previous experience in leading and managing the end to end recruitment activity and recruitment administration, ideally within an inhouse recruitment environment. Experience of recruiting for social care roles would also be advantageous.
With great relationship-building skills, you will have the ability to develop strong and positive working relationships with our hiring managers and other stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the current and future recruitment needs of the service area(s).
The role is fast-paced and would suit someone who has managed a number of projects and recruitment activities in a busy environment.
The ability to analyse recruitment data to identify trends and potential risks enabling evidence-based decisions and within a data-driven recruitment service are essential to the role.
Previous experience and evidence of developing and managing talent attraction strategies on multiple platforms including writing and posting professional and effective recruitment advertising and marketing copy will be required.
