POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are a technological forward-thinking retail, logistics, and agri business.Our focus is on getting the right data to the right people at the right time.We are looking to fill a Systems Administrator position in our IT Department.

The IT Systems Support Specialist is a reference point for all hardware and software application questions at the user level, responds to user needs in a timely manner, and ensures the optimal running of all systems. This position works closely with the IT Manager and Sr. Systems Admin on maintenance and new project enhancements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
2. Provide end-user Desktop support via remote support tools
3. Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
4. Record events and problems and their resolution in support tickets
5. Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved to others on the support team
6. Configure and install Hardware and Software
7. Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Terminal Servers, and Database Servers
8. Support Office 365 environment
9. Support virtualized networks such as VMware
10. Deploying and maintain Workstations, Desktop, Laptops, Tablets, and Mobile Devices

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science required OR1+ years’ experience in related field
2. Positive attitude
3. The drive to learn in an ever-changing environment
4. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
5. Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
6. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
7. Great customer service and communication skills
8. Broad experience with Windows environments
9. Troubleshoot a variety of computer issues
10. Knowledge of DNS and basic TCP/IP troubleshooting tools
11. Provide on-call support as needed, including nights or weekend work as required
