Btween Hiring for VP Of Operations at New York, New York Full Time

Responsibilities:

The VP of operations for btween a fast growing childrens wear company will be responsible for all Divisional operational functions and for driving strategic initiatives.

The major focus for this role will be analyzing existing business operations and determining opportunities for process improvement, efficiencies, and centralizing certain functions.
All while ensuring a robust operational platform.

Overall Responsibilities

• Drive innovation through people, process and technology; maximize the Supply Chain functions.
• Implement best practices across the company.
• Partner with Supply Chain Operations and Distribution members to increase customer service, streamline order execution processes and establish distribution processes to best support the businesses.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan that leverages the scale/infrastructure 
• Establish processes to support change and focus on continuous and sustainable improvement.
• Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within company and global guidelines as well as import/export requirements.
• Partner with DC Operations team to identify best practices
• Work with planning and production to provide unit receipt, shipment and inventory forecasts
• Work with operations/finance team to review operational chargebacks to help negotiate with retailers and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate back end operations. Develop and execute a strategy to run more efficiently. Utilize the standard platforms.
• Partner with Sourcing to develop cohesive processes and procedures that supports the business strategy.
• Integrate new businesses.
• Establish and manage business metrics in ERP system; ensure data integrity and appropriate system maintenance, including upgrades and new integrations

Skills and Requirements:

• 10+ years of operations experience. Wholesale experience is a must. 
• A strong operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Someone who can be both strategic and tactical as the business dictates.
• Have experience as a senior level or head of operations with a proven track record leading and directing a sizeable wholesale apparel import manufacturing business to profitability and delivering promised results.
• Open to looking at existing processes/standardizations and future solutions in different ways. 
• Innovative in approach.
• Bring new ideas and different ways of addressing the business needs. A demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, identify opportunities and effectively implement new ideas.
• A strategic thinker who produces short-term results in concert with long-term business objectives. The ability to quickly identify and prioritize goals and objectives for the organization and ensure they are executed as planned.

• Proficient in MS Office ERP and PLM systems. SAP experience is a plus.
