What will the role involve as our Talent Acquisition Professional?

The talent acquisition team manages all professional recruitment activity for BT in the UK, across a huge variety of roles including digital, marketing, technology, cyber security, HR, strategy and finance. You will be hiring the best talent to help the business grow and fulfil its purpose to connect for good. You will have a huge impact on who we hire; taking end to end ownership of the recruitment process from advertising, sourcing, attraction, assessment and selection.

• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for our vacancies. Whether that’s digital, hr, finance, sales, security etc, you’ll truly partner with your business units to attract the best candidates.
• Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders at all stages of the process and delivering improvements where possible.
• Developing a deep understanding of BT and the business area you are recruiting for, making sure candidates are excited about joining BT at a time of massive transformation.
• Providing a great experience for candidates and stakeholders alike.
• Working on strategic recruitment projects related to our goals as an organisation, such as improving diversity, employer brand or our assessment methodology.

What are we looking for in our Talent Acquisition Professional? You may have a variety of the below?

• You will be the kind of person who just has to know how something works. You’ll have a growth mindset, be curious, and love to learn – always taking ownership for developing your personal skill set.
• You’ll have gained experience from either an in-house or external RPO environment.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Shaping and delivering end to end resourcing projects/campaigns.
• Skilled with a strong range of sourcing techniques and tools from social media platforms, communities, job boards and existing candidate pools etc.
