Working a 24/7 shift pattern, you’ll be part of a SOC team providing support and communications, monitoring incidents and services across an operational in-life platform. Reacting to events; you will take responsibility of Incidents from creation to closure, keeping the customer and stakeholders fully informed. You will also be expected to investigate, document and report on information security issues and emerging trends
The team is based in a location in Berkshire and more details will be provided during interview.
You’ll have the following responsibilities
- Managing the security systems as well as logical and physical access control.
- Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services.
- Analyse and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities.
- Support delivery of aspects of an IT and/or Network Security procedure or processes, operations and architectural solution or security build
You’ll have the following skills & experience
- CompTIA Security+ or similar experience/qualifications
- Experience working with SIEM’s
- Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
- Ability to provide technical analysis combined with an understanding of the threat landscape
- A good understanding/ working knowledge of security technologies such as IDS/IPS, DLP, Firewalls, Proxies, Anti-Virus
- Driving Licence

Security Clearance: The nature of our work means you will be expected to obtain and maintain a DV clearance, so if you don’t currently have one, we will need to undertake pre security checks before starting the role with us.
