We are hiring for an Accounts Assistant to join us permanently from our Milton Keynes office on a Hybrid basis.
The Accounts Assistant is a dynamic role where you’ll support the billing activities and inquiries for our UK offices as well as our offices in Continental and Southern Europe.
Ideally, you would have worked within a fast-paced finance team with billing experience as you’ll be responsible for producing accurate and timely customer billing. You’ll also have exceptional customer service skills as you’ll be handling invoice queries and credit notes to ensure that revenue and debtors are accurately recorded.
Additional responsibilities include:-
  • Work closely with other areas of the business to ensure that billing requirements are accurately and promptly communicated
  • Log and distribute queries to the correct area of BSI and follow up as necessary to enable a speedy resolution to clients’ queries
  • Issue pro rata and the yearly AMF invoices and support incoming queries
  • Dealing with day-to-day correspondence from clients, ensuring prompt responses
To thrive in this role, you have:-
  • Proven ability to deliver high standard of customer service in a high-volume operation
  • Experience of using Excel with the confidence to make tables and understand them
  • Excellent attention to detail with good numerical skills
  • An aptitude to understand and assist with accounting entries
  • Ability to respond to queries politely and promptly
  • Ability to deal effectively with challenging situations
  • Proactive mindset in ensuring that billing is accurate to minimise queries or errors
