Job Description

As a Homemaker/Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and overall hygiene of our buildings. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a pristine environment that exceeds expectations.

Homemaker/Housekeeper Responsibilities

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Maintain cleanliness in common areas, bathrooms & resident living/dining areas, and kitchen.

Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.

Meals: Assemble and serve small meals for the elderly. Responsible for taking resident orders, retrieves meal cart prior to service, serve meals provided by the Culinary Staff, make sandwiches and meal extras when requested, fill out list for restocking, do all dishes, and ensures all logs are up to date.

Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures. Comply with the Residents’ Rights and Community Policies and Procedures.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning of all areas assigned. Maintain a professional relationship with co-workers & other staff.
