Brownlee Cale Looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor at South Normanton Full Time

Brownlee Cale are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our key clients, who require an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a project in Derbyshire. 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant experience of working on civil engineering projects on JCT and NEC contract types. You’ll be asked to provide working references on application.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring new sub-contractors are set up on the system
• Completing sub-contract comparisons
• Assisting the operational team in managing contract requirements
• Making accurate applications for payment and ensuring payments are received on time
• Management of cost reviews
• Identify and evaluate Client Variations and Additions
• Undertaking monthly financial reviews
• Collating information and producing reports for senior commercial team
• Form strong relationships with supply chain team
• Preparation of cost and value reconciliations
• Interface with build team

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in relevant subject is desirable
• Ability to oversee and adhere to contract timescales
• NEC and or JCT contract experience
• Civil engineering project experience.
