We are looking for ambitious, energetic, intelligent and curious-minded professionals who can make a difference. This CFO role is positioned at the Australian Board level and has a broad, diverse and experienced teams that work across multiple geographically spread facilities.
Responsibilities
· Oversee the accounting and financial processes, and ing obligations to ensure compliance in accordance with internal governance and procedures, and external regulations and requirements;
· Co-ordinating cost control activities including analysis, and proposals to initiate improvement actions;
· Evaluation and verification of investments and capital projects;
· Co-ordinating the statutory audit and Board Audit Committee process;
· Management of cashflow, funding, insurance and treasury requirements;
· Management of income tax compliance and tax planning;
· Preparation and presentation of board papers, budgets, business plans, financial forecasts, road maps, risk analysis and assessments;
· Lead and provide support and guidance to the finance team including performance management and development;
· Provide decision and strategic support to the broader organisation including the Board of Directors, CEO and management team;
· Provide financial support and training, performance measurement and follow up to the management team and operations.
Profile
· Degree in Accounting, Commerce or Finance;
· CA/CPA qualified;
· Minimum of 10 year experience in a senior finance role;
· Possess a high level of communication skills – verbal and written;
· Experience in Manufacturing and/or Agri-businesses;
· Knowledge of ERP or equivalent IT Systems;
· Planning, Budgeting and Cost Control processes;
· Capable of leading group of dedicated professionals;
· Excellent Communication, planning and organisation skills;
· Analytical approach to resolve problems.
