Brown & Chase – Search & HR Advisory Hiring for Financial Controller at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

This is a direct to the Group CFO. This Australian company is undergoing significant investment as it prepares for listing sometime in the near future therefore on-time and accurate financial ing plays a crucial part of this role.

In your new role you will provide strategic financial guidance, ensure compliance, and optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Budgeting and forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, providing accurate and timely financial forecasts, and analysing variances
• Financial ing: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to the executive team
• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the quarterly board packs
• Compliance and risk management
• Cash flow management
• Process improvement

About you:

To qualify for this role you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and ideally be CPA or CA qualified. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, with time spent in the profession followed by at least two years in a listed company.
