THE POSITION

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Sales Manager to join Brother’s Sales team, based in Melbourne, Victoria. The National Sales Manager will lead our Retail sales channel and will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategic objectives to maximise BIA’s sales opportunities and profit targets. 

They will manage Brother’s key retail accounts which include some of Australia’s major technology retailers, and lead a team of Account Managers with an approach that ensures a high degree of collaboration, motivation and overall budget achievement.

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement approved sales channel strategies in line with strategic business objectives and budget requirements.
• Achievement of budget with regular ing and recommendations leading to ongoing growth
• Manage key retail accounts including some of Australia’s major technology retailers
• Manage a team of Account Managers through a collaborative approach which ensures overall budget achievement, Territory Management and achieving agreed KPI’s.
• Provide accurate forecasting through business insights and collaboration with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Maintain and grow key industry contacts and ensure that all customers are provided maximum attention from a service support perspective.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to market the launch of new products and promotion of identified strategic business segments.

The Person:

Ideally, you will:

• Have a business related tertiary qualification(s).
• Have between 5 – 10 years’ experience in sales roles or similar.
• Have experience leading engaged and collaborative teams.
• Have the capability to develop, create and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Have a collaborative and engaged approach and the capability and energy to drive and achieve results.
