Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant / Accountant based in Sydney. This is a great opportunity for someone who has 1-2 years of experience or is finishing accounting studies. This role is responsible for providing support in the delivery of timely quality management and financial accounting. This person will be highly organised, proactive, and willing to learn in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform monthly bank reconciliations

Raise invoices for all fees and intercompany recharges

Prepare the monthly BAS’

Complete invoice review and approvals

Assist with management fees within the Brookfield group and related funds

Assist other Accountants with ad hoc tasks and responding to queries

About You

A degree in Finance or Accounting and either studying or obtained a CPA/CA qualification

1-2 years experience in Accounting or book keeping

Have effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and multi-task

Able to adapt to changes and be flexible in your approach when completing tasks
