Bromelia Swimwear is seeking to hire an Operations Manager to join our leadership team to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will be a natural critical thinker, pro-active, solution-oriented individual who enjoys the balance of working independently alongside a small but highly dedicated team.

OPERATIONS MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATIONS & ORDER MANAGEMENT

• Daily: Maintain the flow of wholesale and e-commerce orders, fulfillment, and shipping statuses, and assist with exceptions (shortages, cancellations, delays, etc) to ensure all orders are fulfilled on time.
• Develop, analyze, and action an allocation strategy for daily flow, to ensure alignment with customer order dates, ship dates, available inventory, and arriving product.
• Serve as the primary contact for the wholesale manager from order entry to shipping and invoicing.
• Support the sales team in creating monthly financial s.
• Inform cost changes, shipment issues, and supply concerns to respective team members.
• Wholesale returns processing: review requests, coordinate returns and pricing, and process RAs.
• Monitor stock levels of both retail store and 3PL, making location transfers when needed.
• Create invoices and liaise with the accountant for payments.
• Serve as the primary contact for the 3PL warehouse relationship.

PRODUCTION + INVENTORY PLANNING

• Manage wholesale, retail, and e-commerce inventory planning.
• Order fabric/trims/packing+shipping supplies, receive them into the system, and review packing lists/pricing for invoice approval.
• Negotiate with shipping, materials, and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness & efficient timeline.
• Contribute to the collection planning process ensuring inventory is accurately forecasted.
• Serve as the main contact for factories for fabric/trims.
• Create production cut tickets and manage factory production timelines.
• Partner with factories to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles and maintain on-time deliveries.
• Organize international freight and domestic shipping.
• Oversee shipment, receiving, and allocation for the 3PL warehouse.
• In-person visits to L.A factory [once/month].

SYSTEMS

• Serve as the primary manager of Aims360 [Erp system] and Joor [wholesale platform].
• Aims360: Enter and update new and existing styles, and materials, and create production cut tickets.
• Joor: Manage annual collection [once/yr].
• Gs1: Create upcs for new products [once/yr].

GENERAL

• Maintain strong relationships with production, vendors, & service providers to improve overall performance.
• Maximizing operational potential: identify opportunities for cost reduction and material flow improvement, by reviewing and improving organizational effectiveness.

FUTURE TASKS TO INCLUDE: EDI/VENDOR COMPLIANCE

• Follow vendor compliance guidelines and coordinate with our retailers.
• Receive, review, process, and transmit all EDI Documents related to sales orders (850/860).
• Identify and resolve any issues in a timely manner, including price, terms, quantity discrepancies, and customer issues, and investigate chargebacks if necessary.
