We have experienced strong growth and are looking for a Financial Systems Analyst who can drive our financial systems implementation project that is suited to both sides of our exciting business.

About the role

Broadplace is searching for a technically savvy Financial Systems expert who understands financial business systems and operations with in-depth working knowledge of processes and automation. This is an exciting project in Broadplace’s growth for a capable Financial Systems Analyst to streamline and automate our financial operations. Reporting into CEO and MD this role requires someone with strong project management and communication skills at all levels. This person will also work closely with the Accounting Manager and Head of Departments.

Duration:

The role is suitable for a freelancer or contractor for a 2-3 month project which can potentially include post project support on a weekly/monthly basis as required.

Responsibilities

• To assess and refine the current financial operations and workflows of the business.
• Reviewing the company’s payment processing systems which includes credit card payment gateways.
• Driving efficiencies and profitability through systems improvements and integrations.
• Implement & advise on best practises and financial processes.
• Dunning and credit control processes.
• Data analysis and reconciliations.
• Preparing a reporting framework for various stakeholders in the business to improve performance.
• Working closely with and supporting the in house accounts manager and bookkeeper.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in financial systems implementation projects;
• Reporting into CEO and MD this role requires someone with strong project management and communication skills at all levels;
• Strong IT knowledge,
• Xero, Stripe,
• Strong Excel Knowledge,
• Webhooks,
• API integrations,
• Subscription billing, self serve billing/checkouts,
• Strong Reporting and Analytical skills,
• Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environment,
• Solution oriented.

Experience in the following is highly desirable

• GoCardless and Direct Debits,
• Hubspot CRM,
• App integrations and SaaS knowledge.

COVID-19 considerations:
