Broadgate Search Hiring for COMMERCIAL FINANCE ANALYST Job at London, England Full Time

Commercial Finance Analyst required for our client, a private equity backed, high growth FMCG business with an instantly recognisable brand and who are now successfully selling in a number of UK supermarkets.

This is a newly created and highly commercial role, reporting into the Commercial Finance Manager, where you will be supporting the growing finance team with weekly sales reporting, business partnering with the Sales & Marketing teams, assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process as well as preparing business cases.

This role is incredibly exciting for a strong, part qualified Finance Analyst, with a strong academic background and ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. You will be required to work collaboratively across the team, and business offering you a significant amount of opportunity to learn and progress.

Key skills:

• 
  CIMA / ACCA – Part Qualified with a strong academic background, degree preferred
  
• Highly numerate with good commercial acumen, financial knowledge and experience in managing a P&L, financial analysis/modelling, building budgets and identifying underlying trends
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manipulate & analyse data to identify underlying trends
• Proactive nature & consistently striving to improve processes and the quality of financial data

• Own the reporting of weekly sales, preparing reports and providing insightful commentary back to the business each week
• Play an important role in the monthly revenue forecasting process, preparing key data packs to inform decision making
• Provide strategic commercial support to the Sales & Marketing teams, helping to analyse & identify key historical trends and translate these insights into improved performance & forecast accuracy
• Assist the Commercial Finance Manager & CFO in the annual budget & strategic planning processes
• Preparation of KPI analysis & supporting commentary on key variances
• Ad-hoc project analysis and assistance in developing business cases
