About the role:
The British Museum is looking for a Training and Development Administrator to join their Training Team within the HR department. In this varied and very busy role you will be the first point of contact for the Training and Development function, providing administrative support and preparing reports and communications connected with training and development solutions; as well as supporting the delivery of a range of key development programmes.

Key areas of responsibility:
Administering and supporting the delivery of a very broad variety of development initiatives from structured training programmes and eLearning to the loan of self-study materials.

Responding to and processing development requests and queries.

Managing accurate and timely data collection in order to ensure statistical reports can be generated each month.

Providing data to managers relating to mandatory course attendance and appraisal submissions, in order to ensure training targets are achieved.

Administering payment requisitions.

Advising on course take-up and pro-actively seeking ways to promote events.

Assisting with the facilitation of training events, with some opportunities for delivery.

About you:
With high level of PC literacy and experience of working in a very busy office in a support role, you will be able to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills, strong attention to detail with the ability to work flexibly to achieve deadlines.

You will be able to build good working relationships and demonstrate confident and effective assertiveness skills along with good influencing skills, at all levels. You will be a strong team player with a positive attitude, a proven commitment to your own development and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
