About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to join our organisation. As the Group Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a pivotal role through working with senior stakeholders and across multiple client groups and businesses which includes operations, finance, IT and Business Development amongst others to deliver our recruitment strategy. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing talent acquisitions strategies across the full recruitment lifecyle to ensure the attraction and hiring of high calibre talent into the organisation.
You will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of delivering effective in-house recruitment practices, implementing innovative sourcing strategies and effective resourcing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Propose, implement and manage a multi-channel recruitment strategy to source and secure high quality candidates. Adapting practice to deliver across multiple and varied requirements, including volume campaigns.
Use commercial insight to identify, plan and target gaps in current and future resource requirements, as defined by commercial strategy and Strategic Workforce Planning processes.
Support the evolution of attraction, resourcing and engagement strategies that are underpinned by a strong employer brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Co-responsible for driving and delivering associated initiatives.
Develop and maintain an active talent pipeline by maximising the value of talent tools, such as social media, forging and nurturing external partnerships that provide value for investment, and establishing an early careers proposition to ‘grow our own’.
Adopt a data centric approach to shape a timely and cost effective talent acquisition service that delivers demonstrable value to the business; utlising reports and MI to show transparency of service and a positive impact on people related KPI’s.
Work with key stakeholders to define and drive the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) agenda and respective links with retention, engagement and brand activities.
Stay abreast of the commercial strategy and external markets to ensure continuous improvement in the talent acquisition proposition; ensuring a first class service for the business.
Drive continuous improvement and service consistency through the provision of policies, procedures and documentation; ensuring the development and upskilling of hiring managers.
Ensure legal, GDPR and internal people policies and processes and reporting are compliant across the business to ensure consistency and minimise business risk
Lead, motivate and develop Group HR Team members to achieve higher performance.
Requirements:
Prior experience of working across the full recruitment lifecycle and delivering against volume targets.
Demonstrable skills in all aspects of recruitment including networking, sourcing, qualifying, screening, negotiation and relationship management, as well as solid knowledge of online recruitment techniques, social networking and other sourcing tools.
Proven experience of building successful working relationships with hiring managers and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong attention to detail with excellent written and communication skills.
Inquisitive, creative and improvement focused.
Proficient IT skills with a good understanding of HR systems
Data driven with the ability to extract and report on KPI/key information.
Flexible and adaptable, with a proven ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
Other information:
Please note this is a full-time, permanent role working 37.5 hours per week. This role has a hybrid working model where you will work from one of our offices in Sheffield/Redditch/Manchester and home.
