Who We Need:

We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales to join the crew to drive Brightwell’s growth. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, managing the sales team, and participating in closing sales. Your exceptional leadership skills, business acumen, and ability to execute effective sales strategies will be vital in achieving sales targets and expanding Brightwell’s market presence.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and is a hybrid role. One to two days each week will be spent working from our office in the Smyrna/Vinings area.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall business objectives and revenue targets.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities, target markets, and emerging trends.
• Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor sales pipeline, and track progress toward sales targets.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, ensuring a strong and capable sales force.
• Analyze sales performance data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and drive informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with marketing, product management, operations, and others to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts with overall business strategies.
• Exhibit patience with long sales cycles and continue to nurture the clients throughout this process.
• Deliver agreed-upon new clients and contract renewals each year.

As VP of Sales, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years business development experience in FinTech or banking.
• Experience working successfully using a sales methodology (Challenger, NEAT, Sandler, etc.) and the ability to speak to your results.
• Demonstrated ability to sell to large corporations or enterprise customers and manage complex negotiations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve targets.
• Excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking – you’re strong on both IQ and EQ, as adept at reading data for insights as you are at reading clients for feedback.
• Established comfort level in working with all levels of management, including C-suite
• Travel up to 30%
