We are looking for an experiencedHealthcare Compliance Specialist to assist in drafting, maintaining and analyzing Brightside Health’s various contracts, ing directly to the Senior Director of Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to, performing legal analysis to ensure successful contract implementation and contract compliance, and for managing Brightside Health’s contract management system (“CMS”). The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to figure things out on their own.

What you’ll be doing as a Healthcare Compliance Specialist:

• Review and analyze contracts, and identify issues that could potentially impair the successful implementation of new partnerships.
• Make recommendations for contract changes prior to negotiations and assist in negotiations, as requested.
• Review, analyze, and assist with the drafting of various contracts including, but not limited to, partnership agreements, business associate agreements, non-disclosure agreements, managed care contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Acquire functional working knowledge of all areas pertinent to Brightside Health’s operation, including but not limited to, commercial partnerships, marketing strategies, and provider partnerships.
• Maintain Brightside Health’s CMS by uploading contracts and affiliated documentation, highlighting material clauses, and configuring termination and renewal reminders within the CMS.
• Constantly remain in communication with applicable stakeholders to ensure awareness of key dates and deadlines.
• Identify and assist in the completion of grants, requests for proposals (RFPs) and other potential opportunities which may generate new business for Brightside Health.
• Provide excellent customer service to all Brightside Health employees, contractors and volunteers.
• Remain abreast of relevant laws which may pose an impact to Brightside Health’s existing agreements or future business operations.
• Manage Brightside Health’s state-licensing software.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Law, Healthcare, or related field required.
• CPCM certification preferred.
• At least 2 years’experience drafting, reviewing and managing contracts.
• Proficient with Google Drive and Slack preferred.
• Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
