Brightonview Montessori Hiring for Toddler Montessori Teacher Full Time

We are seeking that incredible teacher who LOVES working with toddlers in a montessori setting. You will join our team as a Co/Lead Teacher and already have a wonderful coworker ready to support you. Position start-date is January 6 or sooner. Desired schedule is 9:00AM-3:00PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and utilize Montessori curriculum in accordance with directives and guidelines

Montessori curriculum planning, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Academic (Language/Literacy and Math), and ensures access and equity.
Acknowledges and encourages diversity and varying viewpoints by providing images and experiences that reflects the local and global communities.
Uses circle time and Montessori materials per lesson plans
Assesses developmental needs of children and works to incorporate individual students’ learning, physical and emotional needs through providing a variety of materials and activities that encourage children to explore their environment and develop social skills and problem-solving skills.
Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress portfolios

Experience and Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Proof of 30 Hrs. STARS Basic Training or proof of Exemption
Willing to obtain First Aid, CPR and BBP Training Certificate – We will train and provide
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop a strong community with children and families
Hours: We offer a variety of schedule options between 7:30Am and 6:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
