Job Summary
The Greenhouse Human Resource Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative support, maintaining efficient operations within the greenhouse facility, and assisting with various HR functions. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties / Responsibilities
HR Administration:

• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job vacancies, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication. Set up background and reference checks, prepare offer letters.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires, set up new hires and walk candidates through the steps to complete the New Hire process including ADP, E-Verify, Alchemy (LMS), and completing paperwork.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, benefits documentation, and attendance records, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Update and maintain employee data in the HRIS (ADP) and other relevant systems.
• Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
• Support HR-related communications and announcements, both internally and externally.
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of HR-related s, such as headcount, turnover, and training records.
• Processes changes in the system and in writing in compliance with our Policies and procedures.
• Helps with employee communications and engagement.
• Files workers compensation s and follows up as necessary.
• Administers separation support: prepare letters and packets.

Greenhouse Administration

• Backs-up the Administrative Assistant with invoicing as needed.
• Maintain greenhouse records and documentation, including inventories, sales orders, and maintenance logs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their needs and providing product information.
• Assists with managing customer invoicing and delivery as well as creating and fulfilling orders.
• Part of the team and will support in the Greenhouse when needed.
• Assist in the coordination of special events, workshops, or tours held at the greenhouse facility
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compliance with federal and state employment laws.

• Bilingual in Spanish REQUIRED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS degree required
• Experience: 1 -2 of HR experience in a coordinator role or office Manager Role
