Brighter Future Learning Center Hiring for Writing Teacher at San Jose, CA Full Time

Hello, from Brighter Future!

We are looking for a Writing Teacher to start in the school year.

Our 20th year anniversary marks an important milestone for the company as we look back on our incredible history of talented staff and hardworking students. Here at Brighter Future, we are continually investing in new generations of establishing successful and strong foundations for our past and new students. We teach Math and Writing for 2G – 8G for writing, up to 10G for math.

Up to $30 an hour DOE for 20 – 25 hrs / per week.

Details:

• Extra hours can be arranged per request, essay grading is always needed

• Located in a bright, sunny office in San Jose (Cupertino area)

• Snacks and various refreshments can be enjoyed at the office

• You’ll be working with students of these groups: 2G – 3G / 4G – 5G

• The curriculum will be provided – no lesson planning is needed on your end

Responsibilities:

• Follow and preview our curriculum a week before class

• Review concepts and sharpen writing skills for students

• Grade students’ Rough and Final Drafts

The Ideal Candidate…

• Is friendly, professional, and dependable, with an overall positive attitude

• Has some experience in leading a discussion and a willingness to adapt to situations

• Has the ability to teach in-person

• Is able to start training before the session begins

• Is someone who is willing to work in a long-term teaching position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
