Required Degree: Ph.D. in religious studies, history, or related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience: Minimum of 15 years experience researching and writing in fields closely associated with Latter-day Saint scripture or Latter-day Saint history.

Duties/Expectations: Be in residence at the Maxwell Institute for a period of 6 months beginning January 1, 2023. While in residence at the Institute the affiliate faculty will be expected to pursue a major research project consistent with the mission of the Maxwell Institute. They will also be expected to contribute to the intellectual community of the Maxwell Institute by attending Institute events.
