Briggs Equipment Hiring for Group Financial Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Role: Group Financial Accountant

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £40,000pa – £45,000pa

Location: Cannock

As a Group Financial Accountant you will be responsible for;

• Ensuring we are accounting for the business in accordance with UK GAAP and US GAAP along with the internal and external associated reporting requirements
• Oversee the consolidation of group results – profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow statements including other reporting requirements.
• Preparing Group and Subsidiaries monthly financial accounts – profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow for parent and funding provider
• Oversee intercompany accounting activities; raising settlement invoices, ensuring entities are settling debt and profits are eliminated for group consolidation
• Assisting with the preparation of UK Corporation Tax Returns and the onboarding of new acquisitions

As a Group Financial Accountant you will demonstrate;

• A qualification in Accounting/ Finance or AAT qualified
• CIMA, ACCA or ACA finalist or newly qualified
• Experience of corporate reporting, statutory accounting, intercompany accounting and Group reporting
• Experience of working in a busy finance environment
• Excellent IT skills to include; vlookups, pivots and sumifs

As a Group Financial Accountant you will command;

• £40,000pa – £45,000pa
