Brickell Cosmetic Center Hiring for Clinical Assistant at Miami, FL Full Time

Our talented team is looking for a full-time Clinical Medical Assistant who is ambitious, dedicated to the aesthetic/cosmetic field, and wants to grow with us!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree or High School Diploma
• Medical Assistant Certification or Registration (Preferred)
• CPR certification
• MUST SPEAK ENGLISH (Spanish also is preferred)
• 1 year clinical setting experience
• 1 year patient services experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination.
• Record provider’s interactions with patients and assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation.
• Record provider’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records.
• Assist providers and other providers with cosmetic, medical, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Able to take accurate before and after photos during and after procedures.
• Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
• Check-out patients, assist with referral processing, and arrange laboratory services.
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledgeable of HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Ability to always communicate clearly and effectively with an array of audiences (patients, staff, visitors, physicians, etc.) in an uplifting, courteous and friendly manner.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies.
• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Must be able to always maintain confidentiality.
• Must have experience working in an office setting (preferably medical office)
• Must be familiar with Medical Labs
