Brick Executive Search Hiring for Sales Director at New York City Metropolitan Area Full Time

BRICK EXECUTIVE SEARCH has partnered with a high growth brand portfolio company in New York City to cast a team of elite Fashion executives across multiple functional areas.

We are aggressively seeking a high performance Sales Director who has a track record of success in the Better, Contemporary Missy Marketplace.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Present and sell the collection to all major accounts.
• Oversee product assortments for each account using selling history and market trends and to ensure the brand image is represented properly.
• Create overall strategy and action plans for achieving sales plans and gross margins for accounts.
• Prospect, maintain and re-evaluate door distribution on a seasonal basis.
• Conduct store visits to monitor floor spaces and visual merchandising of deliveries.
• Build strong relationships and communicate on weekly basis with buying offices.
• Control and manage expenses to improve bottom line and profitability.
• Manage inventory and availability of merchandise and create opportunities to sell excess inventory.
• Responsible for editing/merchandising and pricing collection with design and production an
• Responsible for preparing production buys and presenting buy to President for review and approval
• Communicate with merchandising/production team and merchandise coordinators on all domestic needs as well as update them on selling/style trends.
• Responsible for each accounts profitability managing markdowns, inventory and sales

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Better/luxury missy sportswear background required
• Strong retail math knowledge
• Highly organized
• Detail oriented and efficient.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to multi-task, manage time, and prioritize with ease
