Brewer Oil Company Hiring for Accounting Retail Auditor I – Entry Level Job at Albuquerque, NM Full Time

The Retail Sales Auditor I is responsible for the auditing of convenience store locations throughout the State of NM, providing reports to the CFO regarding audit outcomes and making recommendations for compliance and improvement. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Train, assist and supervise Auditor I, determine which stores and dates are to be audited each month, verify corrections, correct errors in the software accounting system, communicate major paperwork or database issues to the Director of Retail Operations and VP/CFO, provide monthly reports of all errors to the Directory of Retail Operations and VP/CFO, enter manual store reports, log, maintain and archive all paper store reports, research and analyze, review internal controls, assist store managers with software/paperwork issues, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Accounting Associates Degree, or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training

Previous supervisory experience preferred

Excellence in attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Computer literacy to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point and the Internet

Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

Ability to prioritize and plan work activities

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen, frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as keyboarding and handling equipment, occasionally required to stand and walk, occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
